Cold temperatures threaten strawberry production

The April frost in early spring is causing farmers to make an extra effort to protect their crops from the frigid temperatures. Farmers say the cold weather is delaying the harvest of fruits and vegetables, especially strawberries since the season is mid-April to early June.
