RALEIGH (AP) -- The Carolina Hurricanes have signed forward Drayson Bowman to a two-year contract.
In announcing the deal Monday, the team said it will pay Bowman $600,000 at the NHL level or $105,000 if he is sent to the minors this season. He will make $600,000 in 2013-14.
The 23-year-old split last season between Carolina and its AHL affiliate in Charlotte. He had six goals and seven assists in 37 games with the Hurricanes.
