CHARLOTTE -- Wednesday night, Hendrick Motorsports unveiled the new No. 5 Time Warner Cable Chevrolet. Time Warner extended their partnership with Hendrick Motorsports and will be a primary sponsor for the NASCAR Sprint Cup series through 2015.
For the first time, the deal involves on-car branding. Kasey Kahne's No. 5 Time Warner Cable Chevrolet will make its debut this Saturday during the Bank of America 500. It's a partnership both sides are excited to move forward.
"We've had a partnership for years, to extend with the No. 5 is really exciting for us and for our customers," said Carol Heavey, executive vice president of Time Warner Cable's east region. "It's a great way to extend our brand and really demonstrate our commitment to customers to bring them the best possible experience and they're NASCAR fans. We want them to enjoy racing better."
Kahne will also be featured in Time Warner Cable ads.
