HOPE MILLS, N.C. – Divers have found the body of Cameron Draughon in a creek near Hope Mill.

Draughon, 17, was swimming in Rock Fish Creek Wednesday afternoon when he went under after someone threw food at the boys in the water. Draughon did not re-surface.

Officials said Draughon's body was found 50 feet from where he was last seen, in about 10 to 15 feet of water. His family has been notified.

Draughon was a student at Gray's Creek High School.
