GLUB, GLUB, GLUB....
Sunday has some improvements, though
Keep an umbrella handy today and tonight. Periods of rain, heavy at times are possible, along with numerous showers and very cool temps running 15-18 degrees below the average high of 71. Stiff NE winds will help accentuate that later this afternoon, as well.
The majority of the rain should tail off by midnight, leaving us with only widely scattered showers through the first half of Sunday. That's actually an improvement over prior forecasts, but it's also not a slam dunk for a warm sunny day. That's Monday. Still, highs should rebound to the mid and upper 60s Sunday for a pleasant end to the day.
Next week is the land of 70+ degree highs, where we should be the last half of April. Tuesday, we may have a nice round of afternoon thunderstorms, as well.
SATURDAY: Rain at times. High 53.
TONIGHT: Rains tail off to widely scattered showers. Low 46.
SUNDAY: Gradually decreasing clouds, but a few isolated showers possible. High 66.
